review of 2011 (second quarter)

The second quarter we found ourselves with the house listed for sale and hoping for the best in a bad Colorado market.  We had a showing about every other weekend but that is all that she wrote.  The beginning of June we put it on the rental market along with the housing market.  What ever came next came next.  Matt was busy with a scouting trip that was an adventure in its self.  I found myself trying to entertain four children and not go crazy.  I had a chance to go white water rafting with the young women and hike up the incline with a good friend.  This was going to be our last few months in Colorado and I was going to enjoy every bit of it.  Tori and I also had our swan lake performance the beginning of May and we said goodbye to all of our friends that we had made there.  The middle of May was the end of another soccer season for Abby and it was time to move on.  I call the second quarter the calm before the storm.

Review of 2011 (First quarter)

I stole this idea from my sister.  It is a great idea hope that I'll be able to finish it.  I was one that was glad to see 2011 go.  It had a lot of ups and downs and tons of frustration.  January started off with a snow storm and Matt deejaying another wedding.  Later that week we found out that we would be moving back to Oklahoma.  Many mixed feelings but mostly sad.  I was enjoying yet another Primary 1st Sunday. Crazy for the first ten minutes and then all is quiet.  I was then released from being the Primary President in February.  Was sad to see all the kids go but knew that it was time to give someone else the blessing of working with all the wonderful kids in the Meridian Ward.  With being released I found myself able to relax and more free time to read things of my choosing.  I also had to prepare the house for the housing market that wasn't good in Colorado.  March we planned a great spring break trip and were looking forward to it.  Right before it though Matt decided to be crazy at basketball and broken the top of his foot.  With a cast on and crutches, all we could think about was that it was going to make being in the Grand Canyon interesting.  We luck he had the cast removed two days before leaving.  The spring break was tons of fun and you can look at my older posts for that review.  As for pictures they are locked on the external hard which we don't have access to because all the programs for the laptop and home pc are two new for the old stuff.  Pictures will have to wait until I can get them for the hard drive.
